About Nigel Wild
Having travelled a fair bit of the world, I settled with my wife, a gorgeous cat and a Triumph TR6 sports car in SW France in 2013. A freelance journalist and author, I published my debut novel 'Nightwalk' in 2012. Set in France and Britain in WW2, it chronicles the pacy and passionate war of an unlikely Resistance hero. The sequel is well under way. My family is scattered in Kent, Sussex and Washington DC, so get-togethers are infrequent, not helped by the pandemic, but we keep in regular contact via phone, email and Skype. Now I write about France, its people and lifestyle.

GETTING YOUR MUDS WORDLED

At some time in our lives, we’ve all got our tongues twisted and our muds wordled, often in a situation where we wanted to get it just right. Except pressure…
