We publish blog posts by guest writers roughly every couple of months.
If you would like to write us a guest blog post and appear on our Friends page, please write us a letter in the contact form at the foot of this page.
We want to know
- who you are,
- what you write,
- what you have published or hope to publish,
- what the subject of your blog post for us would be.
Please do sketch out the structure of the post you want to write for us.
We are looking for pieces of approx 800 words in length, but we will consider shorter pieces or longer ones if we like your style and what you have to say. (If you make us laugh, that’s also good!)
One or more illustrations are also good.
We cannot offer payment, but we can
- share your post to our subscription list,
- put your name and face on a brief bio on our Friends page,
- give you back-links to a personal website, publisher, shop front, social media account, etc,
- perhaps ask to re-publish your post in a future Anthology,
- perhaps invite you to write more for us.

Please do not write inviting us to suggest a topic for you. (This has happened!)
Please bear in mind that we are a group of creative writers who write for the enjoyment of the craft and to improve ourselves as writers. We are not interested in AI slop.
And – apparently we need to say it – we are not interested in anything written in other languages than English, or in gambling, bit coins, marriage “with singles near us”, or other get-rich-quick scams.
